The thing people said most often while we were building HanNote was “I don’t know where my notes actually live.” So the app keeps one promise above all: your records stay on your own device.
From today you can create an account on the website and start a subscription. A subscription is used for payment and entitlement only — your notes stay encrypted in the vault, exactly as before.
What changes
- The core features stay free.
- Plus removes the vault limit and unlocks sync across devices and every database view.
- One account carries the same subscription across Mac, iPad, iPhone and Windows.
Does an account mean my notes go to a server
No. The account holds your email address and billing details, nothing else. It is all written out in the privacy policy.
